Rules for my classroom.
In reference to Mrs. Steven's blog, rules show students and children of all ages that there are certain times and places for certain things to happen. They don't always understand why things are the way are, but when they have rules, they learn the correct way to act and behave. Rules help a student learn not to disrespect adults and other children around them. They learn the proper ways to keep the classroom clean and organized. Sometimes depending on the student, they don't always learn their manners at home from their parents, so the only way they will learn them is from a teacher at school. Things that happen in a classroom to void these rules are such as attitude towards others, bed behavior, inappropriate physical behavior and inappropriate body language.
The consequences of disobeying these rules can be a time out, not participate in a class activity and being stopped from playing at recess. Credits to Megan's blog
